At the Dance Summer School our passion has always been dance. With this in mind, we chose to immerse ourselves and our students fully with no external distractions. That is why we chose 15 years ago to base our course within the expansive Estate that is Kilgraston School. This has always allowed us to feel safe as a unique little community within the school's beautiful setting and its extensive grounds.
This year it will give us the additional protection of being within our own dance bubble as once on site, students only mix with others on the course and the onsite staff. We leave the outside world behind and concentrate on what we do best!
Kilgraston lies in the Bridge of Earn, just 3 miles south of Perth, 40 minutes north of Edinburgh, Scotland's historic capital city and a 50 minute drive from Glasgow. Set in 72 acres of beautiful parkland against a backdrop of Scottish hills and countryside, Kilgraston has a stunning location with easy access to the Highlands for outdoor activities.
By Road
From Edinburgh and the South, follow the Forth Road Bridge and M90 towards Perth. Exit at Junction 9 for Bridge of Earn, turn left off the motorway towards Bridge of Earn and Perth. After several hundred metres, at the mini roundabout turn left and then several hundred metres further turn right following signs to Kilgraston School.
From Glasgow and the West, follow the A80, M80 to Stirling and then the M9 and A9 to Perth. At Broxden Roundabout by Perth, turn right following Edinburgh M90 until the exit at Junction 9 for Bridge of Earn. Turn right off the motorway towards Bridge of Earn and Perth. After several hundred metres at the mini roundabout turn left and then several hundred metres further turn right following signs to Kilgraston School.
From Inverness and the North follow the A9 to Perth. At Broxden Roundabout follow the above instructions from Glasgow.
By Rail
