SADIE MORGAN
Ballet Faculty
​
Sadie has extensive experience teaching Ballet and is an ISTD Examiner and International lecturer in the Ballet, Tap and Modern Theatre faculties.
​
As a lecturer for the ISTD, has undertaken this responsibility in the UK and across the world, namely in Mexico, Malaysia, Australia and most of Europe.
​
Sadie’s early training began at The Royal Ballet School and later at Bush Davies.
​
She has previously taught at professional Colleges such as Bird College and Liberatus and is now the Head of Ballet at Morea Performing Arts.
​
Former students are now performing all over the world, including The Birmingham Royal Ballet, The English National Ballet and The Australian Ballet.
Following graduation in 1989, Sadie worked in various pantomimes, and danced on-board the Q.E.2 for Jean Ann Ryan Productions and was also principle dancer with Opera North. Theatre credits include Carousel (The Royal National Theatre and Shaftesbury Theatre, West End) and a year UK tour of Oklahoma.
Sadie holds the fellowship status of the ISTD Imperial Ballet & Modern Theatre Faculty, as well as Licentiate Tap and Associate National.

Abigail Steele
Jazz Faculty
​​
Winner of the Lyn Richardson Scholarship, Abigail trained in Morea Performing Arts with Honours and certified to teach Jazz, Ballet and Tap. During her time as a student, she signed her first contract with the Everyman Theatre in Cheltenham and is represented by Regan Management.

After graduating, Abigail, worked with Garsington Opera and become faculty at Pineapple Studios in London.
Abigail represented Morea Performing Arts at PERFORM, Ireland, as a guest teacher.

Her work led her to also work for the National Youth Ballet, and she has been announced for the role of Lighting Girl in the upcoming musical SuperYou in London's West End.
​​
Last January, she traveled to the USA for her contract with Norwegian Cruises, where she is the Dance Captain working with the choreographer Britt Stewart, who was the choreographer of the successful North American television show Dancing with the Stars.
​
Abigail is due to return to the UK to teach at The Dance Summer School before moving on to her next contract in early October.
Katie Morea
Contemporary Faculty
& Artistic Director

Principal at Morea Performing Arts, Katie trained at the London Contemporary Dance School and the Alvin Ailey School (NYC). Katie is a Fellow and Senior Examiner for the ISTD Modern and the Tap Faculties. She is part of the team that created the ISTD Children's Modern Theatre Grades and the recently launched Advanced Two Modern. She is also the creator of part of the syllabus for the ISTD Vocational level Advanced Two Tap. Also, she is creator of many of the new ISTD Advanced 1 Modern Syllabus.

Katie also studied at the Limon, Martha Graham and Merce Cunningham Studios in New York.
She was Head of Contemporary and Composition at Bird College where she was Principal Choreographer and Dance Director for the Bird Theatre Company. She has also taught at Elmhurst Ballet School, London Contemporary Dance School and the London College of Dance, all professional dance schools.
As an International lecturer for the ISTD, Katie delivers the syllabi and trains teachers all around the world. She teaches and choreographs for professional companies and has worked in Italy, Cyprus, Norway, Portugal, Malta, Germany, Greece, South Africa, Malaysia, Singapore, New Zealand, Australia, the USA, Canada, Trinidad, Mexico and the UK.
Katie was also Head of Contemporary at Bird College and is former member of the ISTD Modern Theatre Dance Faculty Committee.
